This course provides an analysis of the manufacturing processes, testing and relevant

sustainability considerations and discusses the many possibilities for designing

exceptional luxury and lifestyle spaces with performance fabric. Participants

will gain knowledge and explore how performance fabric

can be used in luxury and lifestyle design.

2  DESIGN USING COLOR THEORY

This course will discuss how hue, chroma, value, saturation, tones, tints and shades affect the

way we perceive colors and how design can be influenced by fabrics and light. Participants

will gain knowledge and understanding of the benefits of integrating color and

light in the selection and specification of performance fabrics in

lifestyle designs for personal health and well-being.
