Learn how industry superstars created their own success, connect with emerging professionals, compete in a residential or commercial design charrette, and win great prizes!

Learn from the soulful designer Michel Boyd who is making his mark globally and bringing it home to share his design process. Michel will discuss how he is making strides in the design industry, tips to start working on branding yourself, managing the work-life balance, the value of experience, and using the world as inspiration.

You will have the opportunity to ask top designers questions! Think outside the box! At Student Day, you will learn how a project is brought to life, starting with a client's vision and carried all the way through the design process by an experienced designer.

ASID Georgia asks interior design school's directors and professors to attend. There will be a separate session for directors and professors in the ASID office to discuss educational curriculum, design students, and the needs of interior design programs.

9:00 - 10:00am: Check-In, Breakfast and Networking on the 1st Floor of ADAC

10:00 - 10:30am: Welcome and Opening Remarks, First Prize Raffled

10:30am - 12:00pm Design Charrette Competition, Students can choose to compete in either a Residential or Commercial design challenge.

12:00pm - 1:00pm Lunch will be provided by ADAC and The Hungry Peach

1:00pm - 2:00pm Timed Group Discussions with Atlanta's Top Designers- 1-2 Prizes Raffled

2:00pm - 2:30pm Keynote Speaker- Michel Boyd of Smith Boyd Interiors

2:30pm - 3:00pm Charrette Winners will be Announced, Prizes Raffled and Closing of Event
